Jeff Falberg's 1998 Race Results

My New Year's resolution for "Success 1998" was to smash my personal record for 5 Miles, which I accomplished at the St. Patrick's Day race in Fairfield, CT! along with my second fastest set at the Apple Harvest race in Southington, CT, which was my only distance P.R. last set in the 1980's, and to break 3 hours for the marathon, which will now have to wait until next year as I have qualified for Boston in 1999. I continued to run for Hitek Racing and I have so far set a P.R. for the 15K distance in the Gasparilla Distance Classic in Tampa Florida, and for the 3.5M and 1/2 Marathon distances. I also won the Stratfield Historice District one-mile race for the third year in a row and continued to do well in the annual Westport Summer Series where I was once again 2nd overall in points and was also 2nd ranked submaster only next to fellow Hitek runner,Mike Ruospo, in both categories.
